Working principle
Pre treatment stage: The raw water first enters a multi-media filter, which removes suspended solids, sediment, and other large particle impurities from the water through filter media such as quartz sand and anthracite. Next, it enters the activated carbon filter and utilizes the adsorption properties of activated carbon to remove residual chlorine, organic matter, odors, and pigments from the water. Then, after passing through a softener (or scale inhibitor), the calcium and magnesium ion content in the water is reduced to prevent scaling on the surface of the subsequent reverse osmosis membrane. Finally, a precision filter (usually a 5-micron filter element) is used to further trap small particles and impurities, ensuring that the water quality entering the reverse osmosis system meets the requirements.
Reverse osmosis stage: Pre treated water enters the reverse osmosis membrane module under the action of a high-pressure pump. The pore size of reverse osmosis membranes is very small, only water molecules and a small amount of small molecular substances can pass through, while impurities such as bacteria, viruses, heavy metal ions, and organic matter in water are intercepted, thus achieving water purification and desalination. Due to the use of a variable frequency constant pressure system, the speed of the high-pressure pump can be automatically adjusted according to changes in actual water consumption, ensuring that the system operates at a constant pressure and improving the operational efficiency and stability of the equipment.
Post treatment stage: After reverse osmosis treatment, the water may undergo further treatment as needed, such as sterilization and disinfection (usually using ultraviolet sterilizers or ozone generators), to kill residual bacteria and microorganisms in the water and ensure that the effluent meets direct drinking standards.
