Product description

Source water tank+sand filter+carbon filter+belt softener+precision filter+primary reverse osmosis+sterile water tank water treatment system
This system is a fully automated pure water preparation equipment designed for complex raw water (such as high hardness groundwater and chlorine containing tap water). Through the process combination of “pretreatment → softening → deep desalination → sterile storage”, it produces pure water (conductivity ≤ 50 μ S/cm) that meets industry standards such as food, medicine, and cosmetics, and has sterile storage function. The following will explain the system composition, workflow, core advantages, and application scenarios:
1、 Core components and functions of the system
1. Source Water Tank
Construction: Made of 304 stainless steel or PE material, with a capacity of 1-2 times the system’s water production, equipped with a liquid level sensor, mixer (optional), and overflow/discharge outlet.
Function:
Cache raw water (such as well water and tap water), balance the fluctuation of inlet pressure, and ensure continuous inlet water for subsequent equipment;
Preliminary precipitation of large particle impurities (such as sediment) to reduce pre-treatment load;
Control the start and stop of the front-end water pump through liquid level linkage to prevent water shortage and idling.
2. Sand Filter
Construction: 304 stainless steel tank body, filled with gradient quartz sand (upper layer 0.8-1.2mm, lower layer 0.5-0.8mm), equipped with fully automatic backwash valve group.
Function:
Physically intercepting suspended impurities such as sediment, rust, algae, colloids, etc. in raw water to reduce turbidity (from 10-30NTU to ≤ 1NTU);
Protect subsequent carbon filters, softeners, and membrane components to avoid scratches or blockages caused by large particles.
3. Carbon Filter
Construction: 304 stainless steel tank body, filled with coconut shell granular activated carbon (specific surface area ≥ 1000m ²/g), and controlled in conjunction with a sand filter.
Function:
Absorb organic matter (such as pesticides, humic acid), residual chlorine (removal rate>99%), odors, and pigments in water;
Prevent residual chlorine oxidation from damaging subsequent reverse osmosis membranes (polyamide membranes are sensitive to chlorine) and prolong membrane life;
Reduce COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) and improve the chemical stability of water quality.

4. Belt Softener
Construction: Continuous operation of ion exchange resin filter belt, saltwater regeneration tank, drive motor and PLC controller, all stainless steel frame.
Function:
Removing calcium (Ca ² ⁺) and magnesium (Mg ² ⁺) ions from water through sodium ion exchange, reducing the hardness from 500mg/L (calculated as CaCO3) to ≤ 5mg/L;
Continuous operation: The filter belt circulates through the softening zone (working) and regeneration zone (saltwater flushing to restore activity) without stopping the machine for regeneration, ensuring stable processing efficiency;
Prevent hardness ions from scaling on the surface of reverse osmosis membranes and avoid a decrease in membrane flux (traditional systems shorten membrane life by more than 50% due to scaling).
5. Precision Filter
Construction: 304 stainless steel shell, built-in 5 μ m PP folding filter (or polyether sulfone filter, with stronger chemical resistance), quick opening top cover design.
Function:
Retain fine particles (such as resin fragments and colloids) remaining after pre-treatment, so that the influent pollution index (SDI) is ≤ 5;
As the ‘last line of defense’ for reverse osmosis membranes, it ensures that the water entering the membrane components is free of damaging impurities.
6. One Stage Reverse Osmosis system
Core components:
High pressure pump (made of 316L stainless steel material, providing 1.0-1.5MPa pressure);
Reverse osmosis membrane module (roll type composite membrane, such as Dow BW30-400, desalination rate ≥ 99.5%);
Fully automatic control valve group (regulating the proportion of concentrated water discharge, with a recovery rate of 60% -75%);
Conductivity meter (real-time monitoring of water quality, automatic discharge if exceeding standards).
Function:
Deep desalination: intercepting over 99% of soluble salts (such as NaCl), heavy metals (Pb ² ⁺, Cr ⁶⁺), bacteria, and large organic compounds;
Produce pure water: conductivity ≤ 50 μ S/cm (when raw water TDS<2000mg/L), meeting the basic pure water demand of industries such as food and medicine.
7. Sterile Water Tank
Construction: Made of 316L stainless steel material (mirror polished inner wall, Ra ≤ 0.8 μ m), equipped with a respiratory filter (0.22 μ m sterilization grade), stirrer (to prevent water quality stratification), and UV sterilizer (optional).
Function:
Aseptic storage of reverse osmosis water to avoid secondary pollution (respiratory filters intercept microorganisms in the air, and mirror inner walls reduce bacterial growth);
Linking the start and stop of the reverse osmosis system through liquid level sensors to ensure continuous water supply;
Partially equipped with ozone generators or pasteurization devices, regularly disinfect the water tank to ensure sterile storage water quality.

2、 System workflow
Raw water caching and preliminary processing:
The raw water enters the source water tank for buffering, and then is pumped into a sand filter to remove large suspended particles and colloids, reducing turbidity.
Adsorption and softening treatment:
The sand filtered water enters the carbon filter to adsorb organic matter, residual chlorine, and odors; Subsequently, calcium and magnesium ions are continuously removed through a belt softener to reduce water hardness and prevent scaling.
Precision filtration and deep desalination:
The softened water is filtered by a precision filter to retain fine impurities, and then pressurized by a high-pressure pump into the first stage reverse osmosis system. Water molecules pass through the membrane to form pure water, while salt and impurities are discharged with concentrated water.
Aseptic storage and supply:
The reverse osmosis produced water enters the sterile water tank and is maintained in a sterile state through a breathing filter and disinfection device; When using water at the terminal, it is transported to the point of use through a sterile water pump (optional), and the reverse osmosis system is automatically triggered to replenish water when the water tank level is low.
Fully automatic control:
The PLC system monitors real-time parameters such as pressure, flow rate, conductivity, and liquid level, and automatically initiates maintenance processes such as backwashing (sand filtration/carbon filtration), resin regeneration (belt softener), and membrane cleaning (reverse osmosis) to ensure stable operation.
3、 Core advantages and application scenarios
Core advantages
Full process purification: from raw water to pure water, covering impurity removal, deodorization, hardness removal, desalination, and sterile storage, with a water quality compliance rate of 100%;
Continuous and stable operation: The belt softener can regenerate without stopping, the reverse osmosis membrane is fully protected by pretreatment, and the system can produce water continuously for 24 hours;
Aseptic guarantee: 316L stainless steel sterile water tank+sterilization grade respiratory filter+optional disinfection device, ensuring no secondary pollution in the storage process, meeting the strict requirements of medicine and food;
High degree of automation: unmanned operation from water inlet to water supply, automatic fault alarm (such as membrane fouling, filter blockage), reducing operation and maintenance costs.
Typical application scenarios
Food and beverage industry: bottled water production (source water pretreatment), juice blending water, dairy product processing and cleaning water (requiring no hardness or odor);
Pharmaceutical industry: Purified water storage in preparation workshops, medical device cleaning water (sterile, low conductivity);
Cosmetics industry: water for skincare ingredients (to avoid salt and microbial effects on product stability);
High end electronics industry: primary pure water for semiconductor cleaning (can be upgraded to ultrapure water with terminal polishing mixed bed).
summarize
The system adopts a closed-loop design of “multi-stage pretreatment+deep desalination+sterile storage” to solve the purification problem of complex raw water, especially suitable for industries with high requirements for water purity, sterility, and continuity. Its core values lie in the controllability of the entire process, stable water quality, and sterile assurance, making it an ideal choice for pure water preparation in fields such as food and medicine.
